March 21, 2010. It was a warm, sunny day in Dublin, California when a group of friends decided to grab some post-lunch boba at Quickly. There, in the corner of the store, was a dusty claw machine with a sign that read, "No Refund! Might not work! Play at your own risk!". But hey, at 50 cents per play, why not? Looking into the pile of poorly-made-in-China stuffed animals, one particular guy caught their attention. Is it a bear? Is it a dog? Why is he wearing that odd color combination? Lavender and dark green do not go together... or do they? What started as a harmless effort at capturing a debatably well-dressed dog plush turned out to be much, MUCH more.

After three failed attempts, they were all but ready to give up until something paranormal happened. It was as if the plush dog was trying to speak to them. They pressed their faces against the glass, and there he was, rising like a phoenix from the ashes. This was a clear sign from a higher being. At that very moment, they knew that they must have him... at any cost. Lucky for them, it only took another 50 cents.

It did not take long before they learned that Fuggles was a great travel companion.

Fuggles loved all animals.
